I've come to Hokkaido with my JK senpai, Nanako.

We're participating in the open campus event at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Hokkaido University, located in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

"O-oh, it's huge……Hokudai."

"I know……it was a bit bigger than I expected."

We had entered the university grounds……

It looked like a modest nature park.

It was lush with greenery, and there were ridiculously large ponds scattered all over. "……I feel like we're going to get lost."

"Damn right. Well, let's be careful then." ……Ten minutes later. "We got lost!"

"……Sorry, the campus was just too big and we ended up wandering around."

I had a map with me, but I had absolutely no idea where the building for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, our meeting spot, was. "What are we going to do……" And just then.

"Are you two in trouble?"

A slender man in a white lab coat called out to us.

Nanako was shocked and ducked behind me.

The man in the white coat... he looked to be around thirty, with a stubble beard and glasses...
"Who's that?"
My voice and [his] overlapped.

"What are you doing here? You?"

"S-sensei? Do you know him?" Nanako asked from behind me. I nodded and replied.

"Yeah. This guy is... Tetsuro Iida."
"Te-tsu-ro?"

"You haven't heard of him? [Super Doctor]"
Nanako tilted her head in confusion. He's famous to some circles, though.

Mr. Iida smiled brightly and greeted us.

"Nice to meet you, young lady. I'm Tetsuro Iida. AKA Super Doctor! If you will."

"...H-Hello. Uh, what's your relationship with Sensei?"
I need to explain that part.

"Hime is... the Prince of Light is releasing a new work."

"The light novel writer Sensei handles?"

"Right. The Prince is set to release a new medical-themed title soon. And he interviewed him during research. Tetsuro Iida, the Super Doctor."
It goes without saying they were acquaintances.

"I-I'm a graduate of this university. Veterinary Medicine, Hokudai."

"Huh, but Doctor Iida is a doctor for humans... isn't he?"

"Professor Ide. Would you happen to know where the gathering spot is? We got a little lost."

"Oh! Yeah, sure thing. I'll show you."

Glad I ran into an acquaintance by chance.

"All thanks to sensei! Made it to the open campus on time!" "Nah, we just got lucky."
